1. Kill The Kink
Need to get rid of a kink fast? Try heating that part of the hair up, then place your finger on the kink and hold it there for 10 to 15 seconds. The kinks will disappear. Watch Antoinette Beenders demonstrate that, plus create a slick, faux fringe in the video below.

2. The Ultimate Undone Look
What’s the key to perfectly imperfect hair? It’s both wet and dry. Rodney Cutler uses Redken GUTS 10 to saturate the hair, but doesn’t dry the product in. Instead, let it dry naturally. This will give the hair a certain inconsistency, an undone feel that’s natural and lived-in. Watch Rodney explain it below.

3. Textured Bun
To create this highly-textured bun, start with two ponytails. Create sheets of hair (similar to sheets of fabric!) by backcombing and applying heat with a flat iron. Then use the sheets to wrap and create the bun. This will create a contrasting look that’s sleek on the bottom and messy on top. Watch the process.

4. ‘90s-Inspired Sleek Ponytail
First, create a ponytail. Then, taking individual sections, feed the hair into a fine-tooth comb using a flat iron. Start at the roots and as you move your way down the ponytail, add more tension.
