How To Recreate Hailey’s Nails With OPI Chrome Effects

When Hailey Bieber (@haileybieber) stepped onto the red carpet at the 2022 Met Gala, heads turned. She rocked a custom Saint Laurent dress and her signature slicked-back bun by Bryce Scarlett (@brycescarlett). But what really wowed the crowd was Hailey’s stunning, chrome nails. 

Hailey Bieber’s Met Gala nails exploded on the internet and the iconic Glazed Donut Nails were born. The full look was done with the Chrome Effects line by OPI Professionals. How-To Steps:

1. Prep nails (remove existing polish, cuticle care, buff the nail, etc.), then file nails into an almond shape.

2. Apply OPI GelColor Stay Strong Base Coat.

3. Cure nails under LED lamp for 30 seconds.

4. Add one light coat of OPI GelColor in Funny Bunny.

5. Cure nails for 60 seconds.

6. Apply a thin layer of OPI GelColor Stay Shiny Top Coat.

7. Cure for nails 60 seconds.

8. Wipe nails with alcohol wipe.

9. Rub on the OPI Chrome Effects in Tin Man Can with a small brush, then tidy up excess product with a nail dust brush.

10. Seal the look with OPI GelColor Stay Shiny Top Coat.

11. Cure nails for 60 seconds, then your client is ready to show off their trendy Glazed Donut Nails!
