Transformation: From Pink is Wack…to Lilac

This multi-tonal, metallic blend from Rose Danilo (@rosedoeshair) from Sandusky, Ohio seamlessly blends a dusty rose with a smoky violet base. “My client’s hair was a faded pink from a previous color, so for the sake of convenience, I opted to incorporate the dusty pink into a new color design which I call Intergalactic, smoky violet,” shared Rose. Here’s how she created her shimmering color melt using new Guy Tang + Kenra Color Silver and Violet Metallic Shades!

Before

Kenra Color Formulas
Formula A (lightening): Kenra Lightener

Formula B (root color): Kenra Color Metallics 7SM + 2 inches Violet Booster + 10-volume developer

Formula C (ends): Kenra Color Metallics 10SM + a dot of Violet Booster + 10-volume developer

Application
1. Lift the roots to a Level 8/9, feathering Formula A up the ends to achieve a Level 10. She left the pink band intact.

2. Apply Formula B to the roots, slightly overlapping the pink.

3. Apply Formula C to the ends up to the midlengths where the pink starts to fade and melt the two colors together.

4. Process for 30 minutes, rinse and blow-dry the hair. Slightly trim the hair and flat iron it straight.
