Sophie Turner’s Khaleesi Blonde & On-Trend Lob

Khaleesi’s icy platinum braids are seriously #BlondeHairGoals and now Game of Thrones star Sophie Turner is channeling her inner “mother of dragons” thanks to Wella Professionals Global Creative Artist Sonya Dove (@sonyadove) and celeb stylist Christian Wood (@cwoodhair). Not only did Sonya totally transform Sophie’s look with this fresh new blonde, but Christian also gave her a long lob we love. After the transformation, Christian and Sophie snapped this super cute selfie! 

When choosing the right cut for the transformation, Christian knew he wanted to give Sophie a bold new look and that he could achieve this with a trendy lob. “The great thing about the lob is that it’s longer in the front so it’s great for someone going from very long hair to short,” shares Christian. “It’s the perfect way to transition to shorter hair while maintaining some visual length in the front.”

For the color, “I wanted to give her a color that was young and fresh,” shares Sonya. “The cool tones bring out her blue eye color and her new cut gives her hair a bit of an edge that I think is perfect for this moment in her life.” With such a dramatic color transformation, it’s important to send clients home with products that maintain hair’s integrity in between appointments.
