SNEAK PEEK: New PRAVANA Launch

It isn’t easy to give you a sneak peek of PRAVANA’s new VIVIDS launch without actually showing you the VIVIDS shades, but we’re gonna try! PRAVANA invited BTC exclusively to a photo shoot showcasing the brand’s VIVIDS additions, coming in 2018, and trust when we say…you’re going to love them. Check it out!

PRAVANA Collective member and Minneapolis colorist Kayla Boyer (@kayla_boyer) played with the six new shades at the shoot and gave us the lowdown on why she loves VIVIDS. “There are already 34 unique shades and PRAVANA is adding more, which means more possibilities,” the VIVIDS colorist said.

So we can’t show you any of these shades yet but we CAN give you some other details…

• PRAVANA’s New Product Development department created six unique shades with consistency of tone across Levels 7 and lighter, meaning you DON’T need to achieve a clean Level 10 to use these VIVIDS shades.
• You will be amazed at the variety of different shades in this single launch—we wish we could say more!

Here’s something we CAN share—a quickie tip from PRAVANA New Product Development Manager Lissette Cruz on how to make halo extensions blend better. Here’s her tip:

• On girls with shorter, thicker hair, it can be obvious that she’s wearing halo extensions.
• Braid the lower half of the head on the scalp and pin it up before applying halo extensions.
• This makes it less obvious when she pulls the hair forward over her shoulders and results in a better blend.
• Lissette was using extensions to build length and volume for photo-ready hair, but another great way to use halo extensions is for clients who want VIVIDS without the commitment.
