Reflection—COLOR, Cut and Style 2015

Don't miss BTC's COLOR, Cut & Style Show, September 26-29 at the Hyatt Regency in New Orleans. Here's a sneak peek of what you can expect!

When you gaze into the water or into the mirror, who do you see? Do you see the artist who changes lives—profoundly—every single day? Or do you feel as if your mirror image is something less defined? We invite you to bring your reflection clearly into focus and discover your best self at BTC’s COLOR, Cut & Style Show, September 26-29, 2015 at the Hyatt Regency, New Orleans.

It starts with your skills—and to that end, this event assembles the very best educators in the business. These top artists are committed to sharing their color, cut and styling secrets freely and fully, along with insights into their inspirations and trend forecasts. It continues with the connection—and in that respect, BTC COLOR, Cut & Style is like no other place. It’s an open, sharing and inclusive environment that encourages you to interact with the artists and your colleagues, and to connect deeply and personally with people who are as passionate about their work as you are. This year’s lineup of talented COLOR Show artists include: TIGI’s Anthony Mascolo; Paul Mitchell’s Robert Cromeans; Guy Tang; Beth Minardi; Schwarzkopf Professional’s Kim Vo; Wella Professionals’ Sonya Dove; Aveda’s Ian Michael Black; L’Oréal Professionnel’s Nancy Braun; Goldwell’s Dimitrios Tsioumas; Kenra Professional’s Robb Dubré; Farouk’s Patrick Kalle and more.

The Cut & Style Stage artists include: L’Oréal Professionnel’s James Morrison; Aveda’s Allen Ruiz and BTC’s upstyling expert (Hair & Make-up by Steph) Stephanie Brinkerhoff.

New this year—join us for a series of specially created Look and Learn sessions on Saturday, September 26th. This is an unprecedented opportunity to dig deeper into COLOR, Cut & Style’s top of the line education—and to get closer to the artists who inspire you! Classes include “Balayage and Ombré” with Guy Tang; “Signature Hair Color” with Beth Minardi; “Upstyling and Braids” with Stephanie Brinkerhoff and “Fashion Colors” with Rebecca Taylor.

In the meantime, if you haven’t joined us before—or if you have joined us and you want to relive some of the most special moments of previous events—tune in to these memorable finales, and settle back for Mary’s moving “Shine Through” presentation.

Color Finale: Color Is My Calling – In keeping with last year’s overall show motif of stained glass, Mary provides each COLOR Show team with a photo of an actual stained glass window to serve as inspiration for their finale look.

Cut & Style Finale: Discipline – Discipline may be all about creating the perfect precision look, but it’s also about knowing when your look is complete—knowing when it’s time to stop. Each Cut & Style team are given a shape or a pattern for inspiration (round, organic, structure, etc.) and tasked with creating a look with a single model in five minutes on stage.

Shine Up: The Space Between Good & Great – Where do you belong on the scale between just okay and truly excellent?

Tickets for this life-changing event go on sale February 15 and they WILL SELL OUT so don’t put off your purchase!  Let the energy of BTC COLOR, Cut and Style reflect on you, and on everything you do!
