Partial Highlights Vs. Half Head Of Foils—Do You Know The Difference?

If you consider these two techniques to be the same thing, then you’re pretty much doing twice the amount of work and not charging the difference.

Partial Highlights

• Lo considers this client a “partial” or “Mohawk,” which is ideal for freshening up color in the partings of the hair.

• Total chair time: 1 hour and 45 minutes

• Pricing: $145-$165 (Includes a shadow root application and a blowout!)

Half Head Of Foils

• Lo considers this client a “half head” because it’s way more extensive and detailed, which is good for a much lighter uniform color.

• Total chair time: 2 hours and 15 minutes
