Sustainable Hair Tools

Olivia Garden Opal and EcoHair Brush Collections

Olivia Garden has amped up its sustainable efforts to provide stylists with chic hair tools that care for clients and our ecosystem.

  • Opal Brush Collection: Don’t love the eco-look? No problem, this collection is the first of its kind to feature the best of both worlds—trendy opalescent colors and brush handles made from 100% recycled plastic.
  • EcoHair Collection: This collection uses a proprietary bamboo technology (a 100% natural renewable resource!) unlike wood, that preserves natural forests and surrounding ecosystems.

Reusable & Recycled Product Packaging

amika Refill Shampoo + Conditioner Pouches

amika is reinventing the way we shop by launching refills for their stylist-loved shampoo and conditioners. The 500ml refill pouches work to lower carbon emissions by 98.4% compared to traditional, virgin plastic bottles. Once your shampoo and conditioner are empty, don’t throw away the plastic bottle! Grab a refill pouch, replenish your shower staples and keep a sustainable supply on deck.

Biolage Limited Editon Color Last Recycled Bottles

A fun way to celebrate Earth Day in the salon or at home! These limited edition paper bottles house Biolage’s Color Last Shampoo and Conditioner—made from FSC-certified, 100% recycled water-resistant paper, each bottle is shower and shampoo bowl-safe. A thin 100% recycled plastic liner protects the inside of each bottle—no soggy shampoo here! Even better, the bottle itself is manufactured in a zero water-waste facility, making this limited edition option one you can feel good about making.

L’Oréal Professionnel Recycled Bottles & Tubes

L’Oréal Professionnel has launched a sustainable transformation across its brand! Beginning with product packaging, L’Oréal has begun transitioning their plastic bottles to New Serie Expert Packaging (made from up to 95% recycled plastic). Beyond plastic conservation, the brand is also replacing product tubes with recycled aluminum beginning with the Dialight color line. The recyclable box, tube and cap provide clients with the luxury L’Oréal experience while lowering stylists’ carbon footprint along the way.

Hairstory New Wash LLDPE Pouches

Working to be a leader in sustainable beauty by reducing their plastic waste, carbon footprint, and landfill impact, Hairstory is putting the friend in eco-friendly. Continuously improving their product packaging and brand eco-mission, they recognize sustainable change can’t happen overnight—and we think that’s pretty cool. Here’s what their current best-selling New Wash 100% recyclable Linear Low-Density Polyethylene (LLDPE) pouches yield:

  • 30% less plastic (6.5 pouches can be made with the same amount of plastic for 1 bottle!)
  • 18% less CO2
  • 19% less landfill
