How-To

1. Prep the hair with Joico Defy Damage ProSeries 1 Bond-Protecting Color Optimizer.

2. To get maximum lift, weave out babylights and apply Joico Defy Damage ProSeries 2 Bond-Strengthening Color Preserver on the line of demarcation and the previously lightened ends.

3. Then, lighten her regrowth with Joico Blonde Life + 15-volume developer, eventually working your way up to 35-volume developer.

Pro Tip: Apply lightener against the grain of the hair as you get closer to the root to diffuse the line.

4. Fold the foil exactly at the demarcation line so the lightener doesn’t touch the previously lightened ends.

5.  Let everything process, then rinse, blow-dry and style as desired!

Why It Works

Not only does the treatment act as barrier over the previously lightened ends, but it works to restore the integrity of her dry, dehydrated ends while the regrowth processes.

The finished result? Regrowth that is beautifully lifted and seamlessly blended into the previously lightened ends!
