When Truss Professional announced they would be launching their brand across North America, we were ready. Ready for their result-driven formulas, their cutting-edge technology, their organic ingredients—and of course, their launch party.


Nestled in a private room of a swanky New York City restaurant, we mixed, we mingled and we got all the details from Truss Professional Founder Manuella Bossa and Celebrity Stylist/Truss Ambassador David Antunes on the recent launch of Truss Professional across North America.

After receiving her degree in Fashion Management and Design and working at Calvin Klein, Manuella missed her home country, so she decided to move back to Brazil and dedicate her time to the beauty industry. Manuella explains, “I felt that the majority of quality beauty and hair care brands were internationally based, and felt we were missing a national top quality brand of our own.” Which in turn, sparked her initial inspiration for the line.


Today, Truss is a well-recognized brand, with big-time stylists praising the products and its results. We sat down with David at the party and got the scoop on the product line. And, while the brand just officially launched in the U.S., David has been using the products in his salon for years—so he knows what he’s talking about! “This product is absolutely amazing. No matter what line you’re using from Truss the results are always exactly what your client is after—it’s silky, smooth and a little bit goes a long way. And the smell! My clients don’t stop talking about it, and that’s why we are all crazy for Truss,” says David.


Oh, and did we mention? The launch party was a Real Housewives affair! Teresa Guidice and Dolores Catania from Real Housewives of New Jersey stopped by to support Truss and take photos with the guests. So of course we got our pic!
