How-To: Winter-White Platinum

Actress Gwendoline Christie turned up the heat on the red carpet at the “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” premier when she debuted her chic, new cool-toned blonde. Celebrity colorist, Corey Powel from Sally Hershberger LA., gave Gwendoline a winter-white, platinum hue inspired by Michelle Williams and Grace Kelly. To achieve the edgy-classic blend, Corey used balayage highlights and b3 Brazilian Bond Builder to keep her hair strong and healthy with an extra dose of shine. Here’s how she did it!

Color Formula
Formula A (hairline): Schwarzkopf Professional 30-volume + b3 Brazilian Bond Builder

Formula B (base): Solaris poudr 6 + b3 Brazilian Bond Builder

Formula C (root color): 9.01 L’Oréal Professionnel DIA Richesse + 6-volume developer

Formula D (gloss): 10.21 Clear + b3 Brazilian Bond Builder

Application
1. Apply Formula A to the hairline.

2. Apply balayage highlights throughout the hair using Formula B. Process without heat.

3. While the base color is on, apply Formula C to the roots and process for 5 to 10 minutes.

4. Gloss the entire head with Formula D and process for 5 to 10 minutes.
