Just in from London, Colour Director Tom Smith @tomsmithhd from BILLI CURRIE knows how to make girls blush—well, at least their hair! Sharing his secrets, Tom told us how you can take full process lightener service to a whole new level with creative toning. Here is how you can get it!

Color Formulas
Formula A (Full Process Lightener): Lightener + 
Olaplex No. 1 + 10-volume (3%) developer

Formula B (Toner): Schwarzkopf IGORA ROYAL Creative Pastel Shades 30g 9.5-1 + 2g 4-99 + 10-volume (3%) developer + Olaplex No. 1



1. Apply Formula A for a full-process lift over the full length of the hair.

2. Lift to a Level 10. Rinse and apply Olaplex No. 2 for 20 minutes.

3. Rinse, shampoo and condition. Blast the hair dry.

4. Next, apply Formula B over the full length of the hair.

5. Then, apply Olaplex No. 2 on the hair and process for 10 minutes.

6. Rinse, and lightly shampoo and condition. 


Pricing: The Smoky Rose Pastel took Tom about three hours to complete with the prelightening process, the toner, the Olaplex service and the finish. The total cost for the color service was  £250 (which is about $355).
