Color commitment phobes. We all have them in our chairs, but that doesn’t mean they can’t partake in the fun of fashion colors. For the clients who are hesitant about permanent color, noncommittal color is the way to go. Find out how Diamond Tsurkan (@diamondelizabeth), a stylist at The Beauty Parlor in Roseville, Calif., gave her client this short term pretty pink blush that would eventually fade into the perfect platinum shade.

FORMULA STEPS

1. Apply Formula A at the roots for a full bleach root touch-up. Right before she rinsed the hair, Diamond pulled the lightener down about 1½ inches to correct the banding her client had.

2. Rinse, then shampoo using Fanola No Yellow Shampoo.

3. Tone all over using Formula B, then apply Olaplex No.2.

4. Shampoo and condition the hair, then towel-dry. Spray Schwarzkopf BLONDME Instant Blush all over, comb through, then reapply where you’d like a deeper hue.

5. Dry and style the hair as desired.
