Formula A: PRAVANA ChromaSilk 6.22 + 10-volume developer
Formula B: 0.5 oz. Oligo Professionnel Balayage Clay Lightener Blacklight + 0.25 oz. Oligo Cool Toned Blonde Blacklight + b3 Brazilian Bond Builder + 20-volume developer
1. Handpaint Formula A in-between the lightened areas of the hair to add depth and to match her natural base.
2. Specifically handpaint all pieces with Formula B to achieve the desired esthetic of the finished look. Process in open air and rinse the hair with Oligo Blacklight Blue Shampoo and Conditioner.
This was a touchup on a loyal client, so the color application would cost between $200 and $300, while a cut and style would cost anywhere from $280 to $380.
“I think that prices are not only based on demographic factors but also on experience,” Gina says. “I would suggest stylists decide how much their time is worth instead of the individual service and create their prices from there.”
