High lifts can be risky—and as stylists, it is your job to only create beautiful colors, but to also ensure that the formulas you concoct are capable of protecting the hair’s integrity. Celebrity hairstylist Ron King of Ron King Salon in Austin, TX knows what it takes to protect the hair’s integrity with formulas that yield some truly amazing results. Here is how Ron created this high lift blonde using L’Oréal Professionnel!

    L’Oréal Professionnel Platinum Plus Fast Acting Lightening Paste + 30-volume Developer

  • Formula B:

    L’Oréal Professionnel 10.21 + a drop of 4.02 + Clear + 6-volume Developer

FORMULA STEPS

1. Paint Formula A using a globule lightening application. Process up to 30 minutes or until desired pale yellow is achieved.

2. Rinse and shampoo. Apply L’Oréal Professionnel Fibercutic Long-Lasting Reconstruction Treatment, concentrating on ends of hair. Let process 10 minutes using mask for fine hair.

3. Apply a dime size amount of L’Oréal Professionnel Mythic Oil Rich. Blow-dry to completion then re-apply Mythic Oil Rich from midlengths to ends.

4. Repeat Step 1 if the hair has not yet reached the desired level of pale yellow.

5. Rinse. Gloss with Formula B, starting in back working to the front of head. Then, comb the formula through with wide tooth comb and watch for up to 5 minutes. Shampoo. Apply Mythic Oil In-Salon Oil Treatment using Nourish Oil.

6. Blow-dry to completion using L’Oréal Absolute Repair Duel Chamber Blow-Dry Serum. Apply Mythic Oil Rich on finished hair.
