From boring to bold! This cool-toned color melt is by BTC #ONESHOT 2016 Ombré Shot of the Year finalist, Jenn Shin. She used Schwarzkopf Professional to take her client from a dull, grown-out ashy blonde to a vibrant, cool-toned color melt!

She used Schwarzkopf Professional to take her client from a dull, grown-out ashy blonde to a vibrant, cool-toned color melt! Here’s the how-to.

Natural/starting level: 2. “She has been coming to the salon for a few years now, so her hair has lifted nicely to a Level 9/10 evenly,” says Jenn. “She comes every 8 to 10 weeks to touch her roots up…she had about an inch of natural root growth.”

Application
1.
Touch up the roots using Formula A, and apply a gentle soap cap all over the hair to extract the old color.

2. Balayage using Formulas B, C and D, keeping Formula B at the base, Formula C at the midshafts and Formula D at the ends. Melt each color into one another.
