FORMULA STEPS

1. Apply Formula A, ensuring she lifts to Level 8/9 everywhere but the scalp. “My advice is get the lift you need with minimal compromise, because it’s going to happen regardless. And to tone down when you need something done,” Michael shared in a comment on Instagram.

2. Next, triple tone starting with Fanola No Yellow Shampoo on the first round. “Once I got the lift I needed, I toned down. It’s easier to tone down than up,” Michael noted in a comment on Instagram.

3. Then, layer in Formula B on the roots for a root shade, Formula C on the midlengths to kick out any yellow-orange brass and Formula D on the ends paired with a processing solution.

4. Melt Formulas B, C and D together using the W.O.W. Comb and process for 25 minutes. Rinse and style as desired.
