How-To

1. If she’s rocking vibrant locks, start by washing her hair with Sexy Hair Healthy Sexy Hair Moisturizing Shampoo and Conditioner. “The prelightening that goes along with these colors can be drying on the hair,” notes Kelly.

2. Apply a heat protectant spray and blow-dry. Then, apply that heat protectant spray again and create loose, beachy waves by taking vertical sections and wrapping each section around a 1½-inch curling wand in alternating directions.

3. Then, spray some Sexy Hair Healthy Sexy Hair So Touchable Weightless Hairspray and use your fingers to comb through the curls.

4. Split the hair in half down the middle from front to back, then start on the right side and create a Dutch braid. To make the braid look fuller, start at the bottom and slowly pull at the sides of the braid until you reach the top of the style.

5. Spray the right side of the head with So Touchable Weightless Hairspray to keep the braid in place, then split the second section in two horizontally from the top of the ear to the middle of the part line.

6. Create another Dutch braid in the bottom section, then pancake the braid to make it appear thicker.

7. The remaining section should be from the top of the ear to the front of the head. Split this section in two and create two rope braids—split one subsection in two, wrap the two new sections around each other and pull the edges apart to make them looser. Repeat on the other subsection.

8. Next, apply Sexy Hair Healthy Sexy Hair Love Oil Moisturizing Oil throughout the hair to tame any unwanted flyaways. Then, attach the rope braids to the Dutch braids to give the look lots of texture.

9. Finish by attaching the Dutch braids together at the ends, then add any hair accessories as desired.
