2 Foiling Tips To Create Depth & Dimension At The Crown

Tip 1: Paint On A Diagonal

When applying the foils along the sides of the head, take a diagonal back section and paint the sides on a slant. The brightest section should be closest to the face and hairline. 

 

Tip 2: Create The Halo Foundation

When working around and at the crown, paint the foils in a v-shape pattern. This creates the halo or teardrop shape at the back of the head, giving you the depth and dimension you desire.
