Foil Treatment For Blondes With Breakage
Foil Treatment For Blondes With Breakage
A new client sits in your chair—the first thing you notice? She’s SUPER blonde. The second thing you notice? Breakage. Lots and lots of breakage. OK…now what? How do you fix her damage strands while still giving her a shiny blonde finish? For BTC Team Member and blondie expert Briana Cisneros (@brianacisneros), it’s treatment time (with foils!). Watch her video below with the SOUND ON to hear how she handles this exact situation.

Foil Treatment For Broken Blondes
1. To start, prep hair with Moroccanoil® ChromaTech Prime to help scalp sensitivity and balance porosity from root through to the ends.
2. Then, working in ¼-inch sections, alternate applying Moroccanoil® ChromaTech Post in foils from roots to ends. This will maintain the highlights while conditioning damaged hair.
3. Between every other ChromaTech Post foil, apply a root smudge only at the base.
4. Let process, then shampoo and rinse with the Moroccanoil® Color Complete Shampoo and Conditioner.
5. At the bowl, apply a gloss to the client’s root for 10 minutes, then bring it through to the ends for two additional minutes before rinsing.
6. Finally, do another round of the ChromaTech Post and leave on for 20 minutes. “This is the easiest product to get behind because there is nothing else like it on the market,” says Briana. “It’s something that addresses EVERY angle to color loss while also addressing damaged hair.”
