Find Yourself at BTC’s COLOR, Cut and Style Show 2015
They say for your fourth anniversary, you should give your partner a toaster (seriously, look it up). But this year, for our fourth anniversary of COLOR, Cut & Style, we wanted to give you something better—world-class education from some of the most talented artists in the industry. This September, our Reflection-themed COLOR, Cut & Style show is once again taking over the Big Easy. Are you ready to be inspired? Here’s why you should attend.
The World’s Largest Hair Stage
This is not like any other hair show you have ever been to. At COLOR, Cut & Style, you will sit in front of a stage with a 100′ LED screen and the best close-up camera work you’ve ever witnessed. Our artists are absolutely the best educators, celebrity colorists and stylists in the world. Their models are as good as it gets—all flown in from NYC & Europe. And the inspiration? Well you will come to COLOR, Cut & Style as one person, and leave as another. You deserve the best, and BTC brings it to you.
Look & Learn Classes
This time around, we decided that three days of world-class education just wasn’t enough. So we added a fourth day of intimate, look and learn classes. On Saturday, September 26, you’ll have the unprecedented opportunity to dig deeper into COLOR, Cut & Style’s top of the line education—and to get closer to the artists who inspire you. Classes include “Vision Hair” with three-time British Hairdresser of the Year, Angelo Seminara; “Balayage and Ombré” with Guy Tang; “Signature Hair Color” with Beth Minardi; “Upstyling and Braids” with Stephanie Brinkerhoff and “Fashion Colors” with Rebecca Taylor.
The Very Best Education
It starts with your skills—and to that end, this event assembles the very best educators in the business who are committed to sharing their color, cut and styling secrets, along with insights into their inspirations and trend forecasts. This year’s lineup of talented COLOR Show artists include: TIGI’s Anthony Mascolo; Paul Mitchell’s Robert Cromeans; Guy Tang; Beth Minardi; Schwarzkopf Professional’s Kim Vo; Wella Professionals’ Sonya Dove; Aveda’s Ian Michael Black; L’Oréal Professionnel’s Nancy Braun; Goldwell’s Dimitrios Tsioumas; Kenra Professional’s Robb Dubré; Farouk’s Patrick Kalle and more. The Cut & Style Stage artists include: L’Oréal Professionnel’s James Morrison; Aveda’s Allen Ruiz and BTC’s upstyling expert (Hair & Make-up by Steph) Stephanie Brinkerhoff.
Celebrity Color Panel
You’ll also be treated to the second annual, Celebrity Color Panel. Join your favorite celebrity colorists and Mary as they share formulas, offer glimpses into the reality of managing a celebrity clientele and weigh in on upcoming trends. Panel lineup to come!
Experience the Connection Center
Did we mention the now-famous Connection Center? Each of our Connection Center sponsors will share innovative techniques, products and inspirations with you in an intimate education setting within their own Connection Center Studio. As you move throughout the room, spend time gathering information on new techniques, and don’t miss picking up your color formula cards, each providing a beautiful, wearable cut, color or style, along with the technique for achieving the look. Stop by every studio to pick up your cards and by the end of the weekend, you’ll have an amazing library of on-trend how-tos and color formulas from all the latest collections.
