“Give long hair depth and pieceiness for the perfect ‘run your hands through your hair’ effect. Make sure to pack some Oribe Flash Form Finishing Spray Wax in your bag and apply throughout the day for just the right amount of textural buildup,” recommends Manny.

Styling Steps
1. On rough-dried hair, use your fingers to open up the interior of the hair and spray Flash Form Finishing Spray Wax throughout. Keep the bottle about six inches away for even distribution.
2. Once applied, tousle hair around and use hands to further distribute product.
3. Part to one side.

Curly Hair

When styling curls, Manny recommends leaving them in their natural state. “Air-dried, finger-coiled curls allow the hair to behave in its intended pattern and requires minimal effort while rendering maximum results.”

Styling Steps
1. On towel-blotted hair, distribute a quarter-sized amount of Oribe Crème for Style, curl by curl.
2. Use fingers as a setting tool to achieve similar-sized curls. Be sure to vary curl direction and use the natural texture for further variance in pattern.
3. Allow curls to air dry, then shake the root making sure not to disturb the ends.

Go-To Product

Need something a little more low-maintenance for your on-the-go dads? Here’s Manny’s go-to product that will get your clients out and about in no time! “I always like to throw in some Oribe Dry Texturizing Spray as a primary layer of grit,” says Manny. “Whether I choose to finish the look dry and matte or high polished, using Dry Texturizing Spray gives a solid foundation on which to build.”

Bad Hair Day Fix

We all have them—bad hair days. But instead of letting them get your client down, here’s what you can recommend if they ever hit a snag in the morning routine. “For a bad hair day, I would advise re-wetting then re-setting the hair. Sometimes starting over allows the product you used before to be re-worked in a different fashion and can turn a bad hair day into a great one,” says Manny.  “If you don’t have time to completely re-wet and re-set, spray Oribe Mystify Restyling Spray to re-hydrate and re-activate yesterday’s styling products.”

Favorite Father’s Day Memory

“I grew up listening to my dad say that one day he would buy himself a boat and never leave the water. He always said it would just be him, his fishing rod and a bottle of his favorite whiskey,” says Manny, who’s a father himself. “A few years ago, my siblings and I decided to put some of our money together and buy him a boat. The look on his face was absolute shock, and we have never been able to get that kind of reaction from him before…ever! That was a super special and memorable Father’s Day for me.”
