  Color Application
  Separate the hair into three sections and isolate. Once colored, process for 25 minutes.
  – In section A, apply Formula A in a diagonal forward application, starting from the top left corner of the foil to the mid-section of the right side of the foil. 
  – In section B, apply Formula A in a diagonal back application, starting from the top right corner of the foil to the mid-section of the left side of the foil. 
  – In section C, apply Formula A to the entire foil, 1 to 1½ inches off the scalp. Create an irregular transition by feathering the color with the tip of your brush.

  Wet, emulsify, rinse and shampoo once with L’Oréal Professionel Post Color Shampoo.

  Apply Formula B to the colored portion of the hair. Process for 20 minutes.

  Wet, emulsify, rinse and shampoo twice with L’Oréal Professionel Post Color Shampoo. Condition and preserve the color radiance with a Série Expert Cristalceutic In-Salon Treatment.

  On towel-dried hair, spray Mythic Oil Reinforcing Milk throughout the midlengths and ends. Comb through the hair for even distribution.

  Cut Step-by-Step

  In section A, comb the hair to its natural fall and define the perimeter of the back and sides utilizing a point-cutting technique. Starting in the center back, take a profile parting, comb and elevate to 90°, and point-cut a soft line down the perimeter length. From the center section, at 90° elevation, point-cut pivoting sections. When almost horizontal, cut from short to long interior to the length, to preserve corners. In front of the ears, using diagonal forward sections, comb and elevate each section to 45°. Cut using a point-cutting technique. Work down to the perimeter.

  In section B, take a radial parting across the crown. In the crown, take a central profile parting at 90° and point-cut a stationary guide. Continue overdirecting subsections in section B to the stationary guide. At 90° elevation, establish a stationary guide at the top of the crown by creating a horizontal section across the crown.

  In section 3, bring everything to the crown at 90° elevation and cut square along the top using a point-cutting technique. At 90° elevation, take horizontal sections overdirecting each section to a stationary guide in the crown. Continue to point-cut square along the top. Comb the fringe forward, elevate to 45° and cut using point-cutting.

  Apply Tecni.Art Densité on towel-dried hair to prime the hair.

  Apply a palm-sized amount of Tecni.Art Volume Envy Extra. Comb through for even distribution.

  Blow-dry using a medium size round brush and twisting when releasing each section to give a modern feel to the pattern.
