How To Use Color Wheel Theory For Whiter Teeth
Well, THIS looks interesting…invented by a hairstylist, this “purple shampoo teeth whitener” gives the immediate look of white teeth by using purple to cancel unwanted yellow tones. We were intrigued, so we got more details—check it out!

What Is This Yellow Cancelling Teeth Whitener?
It’s called Color Wheel Teeth Whitener, a purple-tinted whitener that you apply with your finger, swiping it on your front teeth. After it’s applied, use your wet finger to wipe away most, but not all, of the product. The remaining violet hue cancels yellow tones to create an instant, temporary whitening effect.

How Does It Work?
“As a hairstylist by trade, I mix colors every day to give both men and women the desired look and color of their choosing. One day, while working at the salon, the idea that hair and teeth are both made up of protein popped in my head,” says Giana Randazzo, inventor of Color Wheel. “My thought was, if I can remove yellow tones while coloring hair using purple, why can’t I do the same with teeth? A few months later, the very first ‘instant’ teeth whitener was born.”

Makes sense—you neutralize warmth with purple shampoo to achieve icy tones, why not do the same with your teeth?
