Sign up for a Google My Business account. With this account you are able to input and manage your address, hours, phone number, website—and even add pictures and respond to reviews. Popping up on Google and Google Maps is a game changer—they trust it and it’s easy to use.

 

2. Step Up Your SEO
According to Search Engine Journal, “SEO leads have a 14.6 percent close rate, while outbound leads (such as direct mail or print advertising) have a 1.7 percent close rate.” Meaning, improving your SEO won’t just result in more online views, but more customers coming through your doors as well. Depending on your goal and budget you can use Google AdWords or rely on organic SEO to boost your numbers in the salon.

Social media is simply a must in today’s world. Here are a few quick things to keep in mind if you’re new to the social game:
