why are people so resistant you trying these?

i've been using them for quite awhile. they are so much better for you.

Did it take long to adjust?

(still a student)   I decided to buy a cheapie pair of these as my training shears from the outset rather than to switch up later.  I'm wondering if I'll always find it a bit awkward and bulky to "palm" them or if it'll get to feel more natural with practice.  (I don't  do much cutting yet). Did you adjust right away?

The good thing is - nobody asks to borrow my shears

I had the same issue at first, they are wider making it a little difficult  to hold a larger comb. Having the right finger inserts is important. I like using lots of different shears so, I adjusted in a couple days.

And its worth it. My posture is more natural.

It's all personal taste.  The way I hold my shears, the swivel would do no good.  That's why there are so many diffferent scissor configurations ... for all the very different haircutters.
