1940's hair
Posted: Sunday, February 11, 2007 4:49:31 AM

any one know any sites that give step by step instruction and pic of different hairstyles from the 1940's. I have already been able to do the typical Gwen Stafani styles but I would like to see the original ways.

Thanks

In the 40's all hair was done with c-sections, pincurls, fingerwaves, etc.  Just jump in and start practicing.  It's a lot of fun to see what different techniques present which results.

Just remember to use a stiff gel not anything with conditioners like we have today.  GO to sally and buy the gallon jug of the pink styling gel, it works wonders on 40's do's.
