making a big mistake.....need help...

My sister-in-law is planning to open a salon she have a place of interested which is asking for the price of around $20k. The salon have four chairs, two sinks, three dryers, small sitting area, no parking space and location wise not that good, another word need works. I told her to look for a better location, getting her own brand new equipements, which I did an estimates to be around $12k. Her main concern is the cost of plumping and electric and the time its will take to get it all done. I think she is making a mistake.....any suggestion will help.....please reply

I know that this was posted a long time ago, but look at the potential. I don't think its a mistake at all. If she is excellent at what she does people will fall in left and right.

Although location is important in owning a business with strong promotion she shouldn't have any problems. And as far as salon equipment goes a little spit and shine will have it look like new ie DIY network and HGTV.
