hi,
i am an indian with awfully straight hair which doesnt style at all. to add to it my hair is limp as well. right now i have my hair cut in steps. my hair is shoulder length , and i want to get a new hairstyle which would keep my hair away from my face and something which would add some volume to my hair . please suggest a style for me .
also i would not like my hair to go short so something which adds volume to my hair so that they dont go limp all the time....
please suggest ?

but it really doesnt sound like you are. And if you are, what exactly is a haircut called "in steps"?. If you are a stylist, its cool, there are tons of people who are here to help you, but if not, then....... this site is supposed to be for us.
