Mullets!!
Posted: Thursday, July 21, 2011 9:04:52 PM
So I live and work in a small town and, well, mullets happen. I had a female mullet in my chair last week. Of course she wanted a good cut on the top and just a bit off the back. Tactfully, I explain to her that her hair came to a point in the back and would look much better straight across and to do that she would need to loose about 2.5 inches. Then I would also like to see her layers in the back brought up to match the layers on top. Thankfully, she went for it! Stylist 1 Mullets 0.
So anywho, after that cut I've been thinking what is the best way to handle clients that want god awful styles? Sometimes there doesn't seem to be a tactful way to work it into a consult. I would never want to insult a client but isn't in our job to let our clients know there looks are out of date?
