My grandma wants a haircut that won't make her look old.

more mature clients require heighth in the crown or an illusion of it. Whether they want the ear cut out or more of a bob or wedge look, the profile lines should go up toward the crown. This can be achieved at the perimeter or within the layers. Interior texture is key to keeping it "young" but I have found they still want the "old lady" shape.

I don't get the old to young requests often, but I've been accused of making clients look "too asain". We are what we are and there's nothing wrong with that!

When I'm old, I'm going to have long silver-white hair that I pin up gibson-girl style SO THERE.
