advice for facial waxing

please help me with this one? i go to great lengths to do proper sanitary practices in waxing the facial area in my salon. recently, i have been in a few hair and nail salons for different things. the sights i am seeing are so horrid, i can't believe these things are happening. i know if you witness wrong you report to your state board.it has been reported in the past, but this nasty stuff continues to happen. i have witnessed a licensed person wax three different people with the same applicator stick, she held the stick in her mouth, while she tore the strip off to remove the lip wax. then the next victem came over, so on and on. i am watching this in shock. i want to scream,,,,,stop now, but i cannot. this is so unsanitary. i really feel for these ladies who possibly just left there with who knows what funk they just got. knowing that the state board can only do so much, how can we further educate our public that this double dipping is nasty and could cause them a doctor visit? these beautiful ladies leave that shop clueless to what just happened. in fact, this one shop has been reported 3 times, nothing has changed. i only wish i had taken a picture. does anyone else out there feel about sanitation as strongly as is do???????????please give your honest feedback. this could be your family.

yeah- double dipping is disgusting, and beyond unsanitary!we have had a couple of local news companies do expose' type stories, telling women(and men) who get waxed to tell the waxer that they want a fresh stick used , and to not double dip. i would suggest calling your local tv station, or go online to the website and give them the info, hopefully the news will do a story to alert the public.that's how the public got into bringing their own nail tools to the nail places, after the media showed how easy it is to get fungus. the nastiest is the double dip brazilian wax, followed by the unsuspecting lip wax victim -ick!!!
