I agree with Russ. I also believe by what you said in your post that this is a completly different salon than it was when you became a stylist there.
You have to be on board with the direction and the culture that is being established by this new owner and if you are not then it is time to go. If you are unhappy it will eventually start showing in your work and your clients will notice.
I understand where you are coming from with your loyalty to Aveda, I feel the same way. Like the other post said it cant be the only Aveda salon in your area.
You have to be aware that even though you are aligned with Aveda does not mean that every Aveda salon will be a good fit for you. So if you decide to take this step and leave make sure you find a good fit so you can stay for awhile.
