first off, i love school i have about 800 hours to go. but its so hard to walk through door everyday with a smile on my face when i got to school with a buncg if 2 faced backstabbing biatches! will it ever change or i will be around this forever? i mean i have questioned quitting school because i honestly want to knock some of these girls out!
next, the teacher is very degrating and rude and unprofessional, i dont think she realizes it but its embarssing, can i approach this without making her hate me?

You will be working with women who are just like the ones you are in school with. Usually the first year out of school will weed out alot of the bad ones, because they will not be strong enough to last for that first year. Its hard. The first year has many ups and downs as you build your clientele. Dont give up.....dont hop from salon to salon. Stick with it in one salon for a year and things will be great. JMO

Hang in there Muddpie, 800 hours to go sounds like alot but will go by fast. dont let anyone get in your way. Pretty much none of the girls you go to school with will never see again, most will go on to do something else not even hair related or will either work from their kichen. take it day by day and go to class and stay the whole day. dont drag it out by leaving early or going half a week like i did. you will end up paying more in the end that way and its not fun,
keep your head up,,

These same people you hate now, are the same type of people you'll be working with for the rest of your career.

be the best, that hasn't been my experience at all. I think a lot of those obnoxious beauty school slackers wind up at chop shops or quitting the field after a short time.

I have 1 month to go and I feel nervous about getting in a salon out from underneath the wings of my teacher .Anyone else feel uncertain about their cuts or is it just me?Im certain that other girls/guys feel the same way but would not dare reveal it to anyone.Care to share anyone?Perhaps its my confidence level.I always obsess over my work even when its great.I always feel there is something else that I could have done better you know?
