Hair with “Old Hollywood” Flair
Let it grow, says Diana Schmidtke, stylist to some of Hollywood’s hottest men. Crops and buzzes are morphing into longer looks reminiscent of classic leading men—think Mad Men, George Clooney and Cary Grant. The look lets guys slick it back or create a deep side part for special occasions, says Diane, or they can wear it loose and refined during the day. The cut should be longer in front (three-to-six inches) and tightly groomed on the sides. And, she declares, gel is out! Pomades, pastes and putty are in. “You should always,” she says, “be able to run your hands through a guy’s hair.”
