Rough Texture Styling How-Tos from TIGI Candy Fixations

For volume that’s lighter than candy floss...

1. Begin by spraying about 6-9 pumps of Candy Fixations Sugar Shock all over damp hair, depending on density/texture of the hair, or how much additional hold or texture you want to create.

2. Comb hair into your desired shape and then power dry the root area with a blow dryer.

3. Next, use the nozzle attachment on your dryer and together with your fingers, continue blow-drying while creating a soft bend or buckled texture to the hair.

4. Use a medium-sized round brush and continue blow-drying to add a bit of polish just at the ends. If you want a rougher texture all-over, skip this step and leave the ends natural.

For a flexible, defined hold on short hair that’s as elastic as taffy…

1. First, apply Candy Fixations Totally Baked Mousse to dry hair.

2. Blow dry completely with a hairdryer and your fingers to create a multi-textured finish.

3. Through the ends only, work through with your dryer and a round brush.

4. Work Candy Fixations Mega Whip (about the size of a half dollar) throughout the dry hair, then grab your hairdryer once more, put in on a slightly cooler setting, and blast the hair once more to give it more dimension and texture.
