Ted’s Tips: There isn’t a face shape this cut won’t work on! Round, oblong, square–you name it! Look at Solange Knowles; she has a long face and an extremely short crop and it looks stunning on her.

Ted’s Tips: If your client has a round face, go with a round shape for the cut, too. Start off in the back by creating square layers then move into round layering and soft chipping at the face.

To style, Ted likes to use his Hair Sheets on wet hair. Then he blow-dries the look with his fingers for a soft, shattered finish. A little dollop of shine lotion or spray finishes the job.

Ted’s Tips: If your client is ready to grow out her hair again, the only thing you can do is not cut it for a good three months. Offer your client a fresh color every four to six weeks to keep her hair sexy-looking.
