HOW-TO STEPS

    Divide the hair from ear to ear and section the hair. Start by taking a diagonal section from crown to occipital bone. Comb hair directly out and cut using a slicing motion.

    Continue over-directing each section back to the first, cutting from a shorter to a longer point.

    Working through to the front hairline direct all the hair back to keep weight in the front.

    To produce the shape through the front take a diagonal section and comb the hair forward. Cut the hair from a shorter to a longer point.

    Continue directing the hair forward, slicing the hair.

    At this point it is important to make sure you have an even tension this will help you control your angle.

    Take a triangle section to form your fringe. Cut underneath your comb in a square line.

    Keep hair in its natural form and continue to produce a strong precise line.
