Shauky Gulamani, FHI Heat President, says “it’s never more important to have power-hair than during the holidays.”

Les has shared with us this stunning look he created by using the FHI Heat 1″ Curling Iron for tighter curls and body.  Click on each image to learn how you can make your client turn some heads before the ball drops!

Start with hair clipped out of the way from nape up, taking 1” sections horizontal by 3” wide.

Next, close the tong of iron at the base of hair wrapping hair around the curling iron and clicking tong while rolling under until you get to ends. At the ends, hold for 3 seconds and release the iron from the section of hair. Proceed with process up through the crown, and onto both sides of head.

For the highpoint of the head and fringe (the area around the face), start the curling process at mid strand, flipping the hair away from the face, without holding the iron too long on the hair. Results give a dimensional textured look, where curls go away from the face.

Majority of the curls were done in side sections and nape area, so they rest at the bottom of the hair. To finish the look, run fingers once through the hair to loosen the curls. Backcombing is optional if more body is desired.  For more memory, finish with styling spray.
