NAHA Nominee Lisa Vann, from Etherea Salon Spa, is known as the “Texture Queen of Aveda.” “Texture is my specialty. I try to work with models to show them how to create wearable looks in hair that have all different textures,” expressed Vann.
Inspired by fashion Yves Saint Laurent and Alexander McQueen, Metallics is her latest Collection. “I used small Marcel irons to achieve different looks on African American women to give a modern day wearable style,” explained Vann. “I also add twist and braids to show shapes in dressing hair up with texture.”
