… these are the themes explored in Intercoiffeur’s stunning 2007 collection – Leitmotif just unveiled during Intercoiffeur’s Fall Atelier in New York City. “In 2007 we are looking for women to arrive looking like they’ve already had one martini with relaxed, sexy and looser hair,” says Richard Calcasola, North American Creative Director. “People want to look and feel great.  It’s not stiff and done – no industrial strength hairspray here.  Hair has really softened up- as a result it’s romantic, feminine and a fashionista’s dream.”

Leitmotif also shows how hair designers can use hair color to accent, enhance and complete the overall look.  Clothing this season has more of a muted palette which is a great opportunity to use strong, vibrant hair color in all the right places.  “Today’s technologically advanced hair color products in the salon allow women to experiment with color services without running the risk of damaging their hair,” explains Calcasola.
