Nail care professionals had the opportunity to show the world their creativity in designing fashionable nails and glamorous nail art, by entering INTA’s Second Annual “Stars Nail Design” Photo Competition.

The International Nail Technicians Association^®, a wholly owned subsidiary of Cosmetologists Chicago^®, is comprised of more than 1,500 national and international members. INTA established the Stars Nail Design Photo Competition to encourage artistic thinking in nail design, as well as to present a platform for talented nail artists to develop truly creative looks.

Winners were chosen from photo entries of “hand shots” with artificial nail enhancements, colored gel or acrylic nail art designs, or any other nail art medium. The winners of the photo competition each received cash and prizes, and were recognized by their peers at the 3rd Annual INTA Conference during the Chicago Midwest Beauty Show^®.

The winners are:

•   Second Place—Ami McClure, Profiles, Cape Coral, FL, USA

•   Third Place—Ki Hyeon Kim, Nail Salon Rumi, Tokyo, Japan
