The pre-revolutionary Russian aristocracy was well known for its love of opulence. The esthetic was ornate, gilded, luxurious. Today’s Russian ruling class also embraces glamour. But it’s a modern approach to glamour with an organic element. Here, metallic hues and intricate textures combine teh essence of both of the mighty nation’s golden eras…and points to an optimistic future.
