Dear Mrs Craig,

You gave me my first job in Paisley, Scotland and encouraged me to enter my first hairstyling competition. I came in 6th out of 108 entries. I continues competing until the day I won the coveted, “Garnock Trophy.” You taught me to shoot for the stars and I did just that. I came to America and traveled the world as singer Connie Francis’ hairdresser. I’m proud to say that I have made a movie about a Scottish hairdresser called “Split Ends,” have met legends like Vidal Sassoon, Sean Connery and Donald Trump all because you told me to “shoot for the stars.” I thank you from the bottom of my heart.
