With Aveda since 1999, Harpers Bazaar voted Ian one of the six best colorists in the UK. He was the Technical Artistic Director at the Advanced Academy in London before moving to NYC in 2010, where he is the Aveda Color Director. Ian travels the globe to educate Aveda colorists, collaborates on Aveda trend collections and visual campaigns, and services clients at Aveda’s Lifestyle Salon in SOHO. As one of the most respected colorists in the industry, the former Color Director for Nick Arrojo and Rodney Cutler in NYC is a cultural junkie inspired by international, cosmopolitan influences from fashion and global trends to technology. He has over 27 years of experience as Color Director, International Haircolor Educator, Salon Owner and National Technical Training Manager for numerous powerhouse companies in the salon industry.
    Dimitrios Tsioumas
Goldwell Artistic Director

Award-winning Dimitrios currently holds the title of 2012 NAHA Hairstylist of the Year.  He also won this year’s Contemporary Classic award, the 2011 Editorial Stylist and Haircolor awards, 2010’s Texture award and the 2008 Color Zoom Challenge USA Partner award.  His work is widely published, and he recently served as lead stylist for several designers at New York Fashion Week. This self-taught hairdresser holds a B.A. in art and graphic design and credits his sister for “opening the door” for him when she went to beauty school.  “Knowledge is key,” he says, “and I get a kick out of inspiring others to get to the next level.”

A Seychelles Island native, Richy's imaginative use of color was inspired by the tropics and polyethnic cultures. Spending eight years in Florence growing into the role of Technical Director at the first TIGI Academy in Italy, he played a role in the launch of TIGI® Colour in Europe. He later assisted in expansion of the line and educational programs as UK Technical Director. He contributed to photo shoots, collection videos and TIGI® Global Shows with Anthony Mascolo. He now serves as American Technical Director at the TIGI® Academy in New York City.

Native of Italy, Edoardo was born with the talent and passion to become the hairdresser he is today. In 1996 he wanted to broaden his horizons by working in London with Trevor Sorbie as Creative Technical Director. During this time Edoardo experimented with new techniques and trends in color and training experiences while working with Angelo Seminara. This helped him win “Best Art Team of the Year” three times over the course of his ten years with Sorbie. Seeking inspiration, Edoarado moved to South America working on innovative projects linked to the context of coloring. Edoardo’s past experiences at Sorbie, led to him reuniting with Davines’ Artistic Director; Angelo Seminara and joining Davines as the International Creative Color Ambassador.

A mixture of creativity, technical skill, and 20 years of extensive color and product knowledge – George Garcia is one of Redken’s most sought after artists. For the last ten years he has touched the lives of many salon professionals with his cutting edge approach to hair color at the award winning academy, The Redken Exchange in NYC. George was also voted one of the top ten colorists in the United States by Celebrity Styles 101 Magazine.
